Senior Enterprise Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates located outside the domestic U.S. cannot be hired.

Base salary: $175,000–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Architect and build interconnected enterprise systems using third-party tools, MCP servers, internal APIs, lightweight web applications, and automated workflows.
• Build and maintain MCP servers that expose data platform and enterprise system capabilities to internal tools and AI workflows.
• Develop internal APIs, Streamlit dashboards, stateful compliance-oriented applications, and Python automation pipelines.
• Convert high-value macros and user-built tools into standalone services and low-code workflows for multiple internal teams.
• Define coding standards and best practices for interacting with AI agents.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to scope, deploy, maintain, and improve solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python engineering experience.
• 3+ years designing and building APIs; FastAPI or Flask preferred.
• 3+ years of full-stack Python development experience.
• Experience building or working with MCP servers and deterministic LLM programming, including LangChain, UserPromptSubmit, or PostToolUse.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with OLTP databases, caching technologies, and relational databases.
• Ability to own projects end-to-end and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship or transfer.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Experience with Streamlit or similar lightweight UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Prefect, n8n, or other workflow automation tools.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
