Material Handler (Manufacturing)

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate forklifts and hand trucks to safely move raw materials, WIP, and finished goods between production areas.
• Read shop orders and manufacturing specifications to determine machine setup and required production quantities.
• Verify shop paperwork and document all material movements accurately in the warehouse management system.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts and ensure all operations comply with OSHA safety standards.
• Support production operators by lifting heavy objects and loading tape racks and color chips into hoppers.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Proven experience in forklift operation; OSHA-approved certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally handle loads up to 100 lbs with equipment.
• Must be able to commute to or relocate to Leominster, MA before starting work.
