Medical Assistant (X-Ray Certified) - Clermont, FL

Location: Clermont, Florida, United States; onsite primary care clinic

Salary: $21.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare exam rooms, escort patients, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, draw blood, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, process results, and communicate results to patients according to provider instructions.
• Support patient scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical records, referrals, specialist visits, and care coordination.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, supplies, and treatment equipment.
• Conduct patient outreach and collaborate with the care team to identify and address gaps in care.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• X-ray certification is required.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
