Base salary: $82,000–$126,000 USD per year

What you will do

  • Support end-to-end RF product development, including architecture design, prototyping, integration, testing, and flight development.
  • Model and simulate antenna and phased-array performance for current programs and proposals.
  • Develop test plans and procedures for active antennas, including EIRP and G/T testing.
  • Design and develop ground support equipment and production automation.
  • Support transition from new product introduction to production and contribute to product documentation, including ICDs and user manuals.
  • Support proposals, requirements compliance, engineering reviews, customer technical support, and anomaly troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, RF communications, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Fundamental RF knowledge, including link budget analysis and linearity, with practical and theoretical understanding of RF communications and navigation systems.
  • Basic knowledge of antenna and array modeling.
  • Engineer II candidates need 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and meet U.S. ITAR-related eligibility requirements is required for U.S. office roles.

Nice to have

  • Experience with space-grade system design and analyses such as worst-case, reliability, FMECA, thermal, and derating analyses.
  • Experience designing, integrating, and testing RF communications systems for launch vehicles or satellites.
  • Experience leading complex engineering programs, incident investigations, or project management activities.
  • Mentoring, communication, conflict-resolution, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
