Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant With German (SAP HCM)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic. The work model prioritizes in-person collaboration and offers flexible working hours, with required availability from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Provide functional consulting and application support for SAP HCM Payroll with a focus on German Payroll (PY-DE).
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across Payroll and related modules including PA, OM, and PT.
• Configure and customize SAP HCM solutions according to business, legal, and statutory requirements.
• Participate in implementation projects, enhancements, change requests, testing, defect resolution, and deployments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, HR departments, technical teams, and German-speaking customers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience consulting, implementing, and supporting complex SAP HCM solutions.
• Hands-on experience with German Payroll configuration, including schemas, PCRs, wage types, payroll processing, retroactive accounting, and FI integration.
• Knowledge of SAP Notes, HR Support Packages, year-end payroll activities, and German statutory processes including ELStAM, DEÜV, rvBEA, and B2A.
• Experience with business requirements analysis, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex production issues.
• Fluent German and English, spoken and written, are required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating SAP HCM with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Experience with SAP HR interfaces and reporting.
