Manager - Analog IC Design

What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of analog IC design engineers from Associate through Senior level.
• Own performance management, development planning, mentoring, recruitment, retention, and engagement.
• Oversee project and product execution, including assignments, schedules, budgets, escalations, technical requirements, and delivery.
• Help establish product-line priorities and advise on staffing, timelines, process technologies, feasibility, and technical risks.
• Collaborate across design, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering leadership to shape roadmaps and share technical knowledge.
• Promote rigorous design practices and first-time-right quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of analog IC design experience in product development environments.
• Experience leading new product development from inception through market introduction.
• Broad knowledge of IC design and modelling tools across the design flow.
• Experience with multiple process technologies, including SiGe BiCMOS and CMOS.
• Knowledge of signal integrity markets such as data centre, 5G wireless, and PON, plus strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have

• People management experience in an analog or mixed-signal IC design environment.
• Experience developing laser driver, TIA, or integrated transceiver ICs for optical communications.
• Familiarity with FTTH and datacentre interconnect markets.
• Experience with product roadmap planning and Marketing or Sales stakeholders.
• Experience in a multinational publicly listed technology company.
