EOI - Senior Fund Accountant (Hedge Funds)

What you will do

• Support client relationships and deliver accurate, timely fund accounting work in coordination with managers and team members.
• Review transaction documentation, investment activity, accruals, valuation adjustments, and work paper files.
• Perform bank reconciliations, process journal entries, and prepare financial schedules.
• Prepare management fee calculations, investor allocations, capital account statements, capital calls, distributions, and investor notices.
• Update distribution waterfall models and prepare financial statements, notes, and supporting schedules.
• Support year-end audits, tax reporting activities, client information requests, and departmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience or exposure to hedge funds, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, fund structures, and investment products.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or overseeing financial statements, NAV calculations, and investor reporting.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective client and stakeholder relationships.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or CFA are highly regarded but not essential.

Nice to have

• Leadership, coaching, and people management experience for potential Associate Manager or Manager-level opportunities.
• Professional qualification equivalent to CA, CPA, or CFA.
