Fund Accountant (Junior)

Location: Singapore; hybrid working arrangement

What you will do

• Prepare NAV reports, management accounts, and other fund accounting reports.
• Record journal entries for fund and investment management companies across different jurisdictions.
• Review capital distribution notices and fund administrator NAV reports, reconciling them with internal records.
• Identify exceptions and perform quality checks on accounting records.
• Assist with audit schedules, annual financial statements, regulatory reports, and tax returns.
• Process payments and reimbursements, and support ad hoc finance assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related financial field.
• 1–2 years of experience in fund or corporate accounting; fund accounting experience is highly advantageous.
• ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience with Singapore MAS returns and IRAS tax filings, including Form C, ECI, and GST, is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, responsiveness, organizational skills, and analytical ability.
• Fluent English required; Mandarin is a plus.

Nice to have

• Prior experience handling Singapore MAS quarterly and annual returns.
• Experience with Singapore IRAS Form C, ECI, and GST filings.
• Mandarin proficiency.
