Senior Fullstack Developer (Java/AWS)

Location: Charlottesville, United States

Salary: $80,400–$105,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver Java-based applications and services across the full software development lifecycle.
• Build full-stack solutions with Java, React, AWS, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Modernize Azure/.NET applications and transition them to AWS-based Java platforms.
• Collaborate with architects and agile cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable software.
• Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and promote engineering best practices.
• Support production releases, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong experience building full-stack applications with Java, React, and AWS.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, and API Gateway.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Azure, .NET/C#, application modernization, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, mentoring, or .NET-to-Java migrations is beneficial.
