Associate Product Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Richmond, Canada

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Support product strategy, roadmap development, portfolio reviews, and product lifecycle management.
• Translate customer, application, market, and business needs into product requirements and actionable specifications.
• Lead assigned cross-functional development programs from concept through commercialization.
• Develop program plans, schedules, resource requirements, risk registers, dependencies, and progress updates.
• Coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Commercial teams during product development and delivery.
• Support NPI, product qualification, engineering-to-production transfers, design reviews, stage-gate reviews, and change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Science, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in product management, program management, applications engineering, systems engineering, manufacturing engineering, technical sales, or a related technical role.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing planning, scheduling, risks, issues, priorities, and stakeholders.
• Understanding of NPI, product lifecycle management, engineering change management, or engineering-to-production transfer processes.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, or equivalent project management platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductors, semiconductor equipment, photonics, fiber optics, instrumentation, sensing, or other advanced technology industries.
• Experience in manufacturing, customer-facing development programs, product launches, or technology commercialization.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing, process control, optical sensing, vacuum, or temperature measurement technologies.
• Experience with market research, competitive analysis, business cases, portfolio analysis, Jira, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
