Senior Sourcing Specialist (Aerospace & Defense)

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for aerospace and defense electronics.
• Identify, qualify, and develop suppliers for high-mix, low-to-medium volume production.
• Negotiate and manage long-term agreements, supplier performance reviews, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead supplier business reviews and quarterly operating reviews covering delivery, quality, cost, and technical capability.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Program Teams, Finance, and Legal on supplier readiness, commercial terms, production schedules, and risk management.
• Support supplier development, business continuity planning, and compliance with applicable defense and export regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management focused on electronics, PCBA, or electromechanical commodities.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability electronics manufacturing.
• Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, cost reduction, and long-term contract management.
• Strong understanding of PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, and harness production.
• Excellent business acumen, communication, influencing, and cross-functional leadership skills.
