GIS Manager (Retail)

Location: Boston Hub; hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $107,885–$161,827 annually

What you will do

• Create and own self-service GIS tools for visualizing network roadmaps across branded retail channels.
• Engage stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose GIS outputs.
• Build and maintain centralized databases for spatial data, including retail, competitor, and demographic datasets.
• Integrate internal store, online, and audience data into projects and deliverables.
• Automate and continuously improve GIS workflows, data processes, and reporting.
• Provide spatial and store-based analysis that informs retail strategy and store-level recommendations.

Requirements

• Strong expertise with enterprise GIS platforms including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, CARTO, and QGIS.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience designing scalable self-service GIS products and data solutions for business users.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and Python.
• Ability to manage project objectives independently and maintain high data integrity.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global retail, FMCG, or CPG company and an understanding of varied retail landscapes.
