Associate Sourcing Specialist (Aerospace Defense)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States. On-site work is required.

Salary: $59,000–$89,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for full-time regular employees.

What you will do

• Execute and manage purchase orders for indirect procurement categories, including facilities, production tooling, IT hardware and software, and engineering equipment.
• Source goods and services with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, and IT stakeholders while meeting cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, terms, and lead times to support budget objectives.
• Maintain supplier records, purchase order tracking, and delivery schedules in Deltek Costpoint.
• Support supplier qualification, onboarding, invoice reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, and timely payment.
• Help forecast procurement needs and implement standard work and process improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing, particularly in indirect categories.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and high-volume transactional work with strong attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems; Deltek Costpoint experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS or other compliance-driven procurement practices.
• Experience sourcing capital equipment, production tooling, IT infrastructure, or commercial construction contractors.
• Experience developing procurement processes or supplier management frameworks.
