TL;DR
Lead Java Fullstack Developer (Java/Angular): Designing and developing scalable financial technology solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, and cloud-based systems with an accent on secure, tested, and maintainable software. Focus on leading complex design decisions, troubleshooting performance and security issues, improving automation, and mentoring engineers across teams.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for financial technology products.
- Build fullstack functionality using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, HTML, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, design discussions, prototyping, estimation, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Develop unit and automated tests, identify bottlenecks, and improve application performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex performance, security, deployment, and customer issues.
- Mentor team members, conduct training and interviews, onboard new hires, and collaborate with technical teams across geographies.
Requirements
- 9–13 years of experience indicated for the position; at least 6 years of hands-on Java software design and development experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, design patterns, REST APIs, Spring Boot, microservices, databases, and software engineering practices.
- Experience with unit testing, automated functional and non-functional testing, Agile development, and test-driven development.
- Knowledge of SAML/SSO is mandatory, along with experience troubleshooting JVM, performance, heap, and security issues.
- Fluent English required; strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with global teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, horizontal scaling, and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, messaging systems, application servers, and cloud delivery environments.
- Experience in banking or financial services, reporting tools, security scanning, scripting, or AWS certification.
