Sr. Engineer - Endpoint Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site in Bangalore, Karnataka, reporting to the Bangalore office Monday through Friday. The role requires 24/7 support coverage, rotating day, mid, and night shifts, and availability for 24/5 operations.

What you will do

• Implement endpoint security products and services for customer environments.
• Work with EDR, XDR, DLP, encryption, and related endpoint security platforms.
• Perform synchronization, monitoring, and platform health checks.
• Analyze application settings, security policies, custom rule sets, and historical performance data to recommend improvements.
• Triage malware alerts and support SIEM, UEBA, hybrid, and cloud security environments.
• Provide operational guidance, shift handovers, escalation support, reporting, and documentation within a 24/7 on-call operation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant endpoint security experience with at least two technologies such as EDR, XDR, or DLP.
• Experience with platforms including CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, Cortex, Netskope, or MCAS.
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of malware and threats, workstation and server technologies, deployment tools, MDM tools, security architecture, and security-by-design principles.
• Knowledge of ITIL, incident management, change management, and problem management.
• Ability to work from the office in Bangalore and provide 24/5 availability with rotating shifts. Strong communication, writing, presentation, negotiation, organization, and relationship-building skills are required.
