TL;DR
Security Solution Architect (Cybersecurity): Designing end-to-end security architectures and deployment strategies for Qualys’s unified SaaS security platform with an accent on vulnerability management, cloud security, application security, and compliance. Focus on leading Proof of Value engagements, translating customer requirements into scalable solutions, and aligning security controls with business goals and risk frameworks.

What you will do
- Advise enterprise customers on vulnerability management, threat detection and response, compliance, cloud security, and application security.
- Design end-to-end security architectures and deployment strategies aligned with customer environments and business objectives.
- Lead high-impact Proof of Value engagements, architecture sessions, executive workshops, and technical briefings.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable solutions and identify gaps in existing security postures.
- Partner with Sales, TAMs, Product, Engineering, and customer stakeholders to drive technical wins and influence the product roadmap.
- Create reusable reference architectures, onboarding playbooks, and security best practices.
Requirements
- Relevant bachelor's degree.
- At least 8 years of professional experience.
- Strong customer-facing experience in pre-sales, post-sales, or advisory roles.
- Proven ability to design and communicate complex security architectures to engineers and executives.
- Experience with infrastructure and endpoint security, including vulnerability management, patching, asset discovery, policy compliance, configuration management, and EDR.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture; cloud posture, identity, workload, container, application, API, SAST, DAST, and DevSecOps security.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with or similar security platforms.
- Knowledge of ISO, NIST, CIS, OWASP, and MITRE frameworks.
- Experience mapping security controls to compliance frameworks.
- Experience influencing product direction through customer feedback.
