IT Security Analyst (IAM)

Location: Pune or Chennai, India; 24x7 rotation shifts. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office during the recruitment process.

What you will do

• Respond to and resolve IAM incidents and service tickets within defined SLAs.
• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, Azure AD, Entra ID, SSO, and MFA environments.
• Process onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, de-provisioning, and access modification requests while applying RBAC and least-privilege principles.
• Monitor and correlate alerts from SIEM, EDR, infrastructure monitoring, and other security tools.
• Investigate suspicious logins, phishing attempts, and other indicators using logs, IP addresses, domains, URLs, hashes, and account information.
• Document tickets, participate in shift handovers, collaborate with support teams and application owners, and escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 engineers.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on IT security experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with IAM solutions, Microsoft Azure AD, authentication, MFA, and both on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
• Understanding of SIEM concepts, security event analysis, user lifecycle management, access control models, and directory services.
• Working knowledge of ITIL practices and ServiceNow.
• Strong communication, analytical troubleshooting, customer service, prioritization, collaboration, and adaptability skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of EDR/XDR platforms such as CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender.
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel.
• Basic scripting or automation knowledge with PowerShell or Python.
• Understanding of access certification and Segregation of Duties.
