IT Security Analyst - Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Location: Pune or Chennai, India; 24x7 rotation shifts

What you will do

• Respond to and resolve IAM incidents and service tickets within defined SLAs.
• Administer, troubleshoot, and support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Process onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, de-provisioning, and access modification requests.
• Monitor and investigate security alerts across SIEM, EDR, IAM, cloud, and infrastructure platforms.
• Support RBAC, least-privilege enforcement, privileged access management, access reviews, audits, and compliance evidence collection.
• Maintain operational documentation, mentor junior analysts, and identify automation and process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, IAM, security operations, or related IT disciplines.
• Experience with enterprise IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, authentication services, MFA, identity governance, RBAC, and user lifecycle management.
• Experience investigating security events across multiple technologies, with working knowledge of SIEM and familiarity with EDR/XDR platforms such as Microsoft Defender or CrowdStrike.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure, ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform, and basic scripting or automation with PowerShell or Python.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Sentinel, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, access certification, audit support, or security automation experience.
• Exposure to AWS identity and access management concepts.
• Security+, SC-900, SC-300, AZ-500, CISSP, or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
