Robotics Service/Maintenance Technician

hirify.global develops cognitive and humanoid robots, including MAiRA, 4NE1, and MiPA, and operates NeuraGym as a physical AI training center for collecting robot data and developing applications.

What you will do

• Assemble, integrate, and set up humanoid robot prototypes and subassemblies.
• Assemble modules, joints, actuators, and gear systems.
• Read and implement technical drawings and CAD derivations.
• Adjust, rework, and optimize parts during the prototype phase.
• Support commissioning, testing, system modifications, and customer-site or trade-fair installations.
• Identify assembly issues, provide feedback to mechanical design, document prototype changes, and maintain tools and workstations.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, precision mechanic, mechatronics technician, or in a similar field.
• Experience building prototypes or assembling complex mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies and machine components, with confidence reading technical drawings.
• Precise, clean craftsmanship and an independent, solution-oriented working style.
• Good communication skills in German or English.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic topics, such as wiring, and willingness to travel occasionally for installations and commissioning.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, automation, or special-machine construction.
• Experience with actuators, gear systems, or mechatronic assemblies.
