Staff Engineer, Quality (Aerospace)

Location: Dallas, Texas; on-site

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees.

What you will do

• Lead quality initiatives across product design, new product introduction, and full-rate production.
• Develop and maintain quality systems aligned with AS9100 standards.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support NPI by establishing control plans, inspection strategies, and process improvements.
• Use statistical analysis and process control methods to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams while mentoring team members and influencing cross-functional decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering.
• Experience leading root cause analysis and implementing RCA/CAPA.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and AS9100 or similar standards.
• Experience supporting NPI and scaling production in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, SPC, capability analysis, and process control.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability industries.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and design reviews.
• Experience with QMS, MES, PLM, data analysis, metrology, NDT, or automated inspection systems.
