Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Vancouver, Washington, United States; onsite at the manufacturing facility

Annual base salary: $72,500–$103,400 USD; eligible for a performance incentive of 10% of annual base salary.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SQF, and FSC management systems.
• Lead deviation investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA processes, and internal quality claims.
• Drive food safety culture initiatives, HACCP action plans, calibration management, and measurement system analysis.
• Integrate World Class Manufacturing methodologies with management system requirements.
• Develop, train, and mentor a cross-functional internal auditor team and coordinate annual management system training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of quality systems experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, SQF, FSC, HACCP, SPC, Gage R&R, FMEA, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of project management and training facilitation.
• The position is based in Vancouver, Washington, United States. Applicants requiring international relocation to the United States are not considered.

Nice to have

• Experience with Minitab, SAP, or Power BI.
• Lead Auditor experience.
• Six Sigma certification.
