Salary: Starting at $160,000 per year

Atomics develops factory-fabricated microreactors for affordable, scalable, and reliable nuclear power, including the 10 MWe -1 reactor.
What you will do
- Lead and scale the global supply chain organization, aligning procurement with manufacturing and reactor deployment timelines.
- Drive strategic sourcing, vendor selection, contract execution, supplier performance, and material delivery.
- Build resilient supplier networks and resolve bottlenecks involving capacity, logistics, geopolitical risk, and long-lead components.
- Own manufacturing and logistics planning, including supplier capacity, resource allocation, inventory, and working capital.
- Establish nuclear-quality workflows, supplier qualification, auditing, and performance metrics based on lead times, cost variance, and defect rates.
- Partner with engineering, regulatory, legal, and operations teams while developing supply chain leaders and external supplier relationships.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States and work on-site in Austin, Texas.
- 10–15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in global procurement and strategic sourcing.
- Experience building complex, large-scale supply chains for heavy hardware, infrastructure, aerospace, defense, or other capital-intensive industries.
- Expertise in industrial manufacturing, contract negotiation, supplier risk management, MRP/ERP data, and quality management workflows.
- Experience leading operations teams and resolving vendor failures, capacity constraints, and shipping bottlenecks.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related industrial operations field; applicants must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Persons compliant with 10 CFR Part 810.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or MBA in supply chain, operations research, business, or engineering.
- Experience with ASME NQA-1, Nuclear Regulatory Commission compliance, or high-consequence defense procurement.
- Established relationships with domestic forge shops, specialty alloy manufacturers, or small modular reactor component suppliers.
