Lead Backend Development Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and implement a unified AI gateway access layer, routing governance, and end-to-end observability across multi-model, multi-cloud, and multi-vendor environments.
• Develop standardized monitoring, security auditing, and automated management for AI data flows.
• Build, optimize, and maintain gateway capabilities including unified authentication, high-frequency rate limiting, circuit breaking, canary releases, and protocol adaptation.
• Optimize performance for high-concurrency and low-latency workloads.
• Improve disaster recovery, multi-cluster deployment, elastic scaling, security, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one of Golang, Python, or Lua, with strong data structures, algorithms, and system-level programming fundamentals.
• Experience with mainstream LLM API specifications and multi-model integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with streaming technologies such as SSE and long-lived connection management.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, HTTP/2, and gRPC.
• Familiarity with gateway internals or plugin development for Nginx, OpenResty, APISIX, or Kong.
