Director of Production (Aerospace)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; Workplace: On-site

Salary: $190,000–$290,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees

What you will do

• Architect and execute production plans balancing scale, agility, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Build aircraft production capabilities through systems, processes, and staffing.
• Lead production teams with clear expectations, coaching, and accountability.
• Integrate design, sourcing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and customer operations workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement in throughput, takt, quality, and cost using operational metrics.
• Adopt automation, digitization, and advanced manufacturing methods while reporting risks and insights to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of production leadership experience in advanced manufacturing, such as aerospace or automotive.
• Experience building and scaling a manufacturing operation.
• 5+ years leading large teams in high-precision, high-throughput environments.
• Experience managing outsourced manufacturing or tiered vendor ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies, with strong executive communication and cross-functional alignment skills.
