Salary: $175,000–$210,000 + equity

What you will do

• Lead the Quality organization, owning product reliability, compliance, and certification activities.
• Recruit and scale a world-class quality team to support high-volume manufacturing.
• Develop and implement quality-management systems (QMS), standards, and operating procedures.
• Drive certification efforts for AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP.
• Improve production yield, throughput, and reduce scrap and customer escapes.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing/quality engineering within aerospace or automotive sectors.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical quality teams.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for U.S. Government export authorization (ITAR/DDTC).
• Must be able to work onsite in El Segundo, California.
• Experience building and scaling a quality organization in a manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience leading an organization through AS9100 certification or recertification.
• Knowledge of AS9102 first-article inspection and NADCAP special-process accreditation.
• Proficiency with selecting or scaling WMS, MES, or QMS platforms.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
