Senior IT & Business Analyst (Banking)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia — hybrid work

Salary: from €220 gross per day; the exact amount depends on knowledge, experience, qualifications, and expertise.

What you will do

• Analyze functional, non-functional, and domain requirements for critical banking services.
• Prepare functional specifications, feasibility studies, application component designs, and proposed solution documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, external customers, suppliers, and other partners.
• Participate in interface design in alignment with platform architecture.
• Propose improvements to component specifications, architectural standards, and service processes.
• Analyze and resolve incidents and problems in production and pre-production environments.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in business analysis and requirements specification for banking systems.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to design constructive solutions.
• Ability to independently learn from technical and business documentation.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders at different levels.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of XML, XSD, and web services; a software development background is advantageous.
