TL;DR

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

  • Supervise Test Area activities while maintaining efficient workflows, safety, and quality standards.
  • Lead approximately 10 technicians through mentorship, performance feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate schedules, resources, and priorities with leadership and engineering, and report status regularly.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate test hardware, shop equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Verify flight hardware, document results, and maintain process-planning documents.
  • Investigate production non-conformances, identify root causes, and drive dispositions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • At least 5 years of experience with flight hardware assemblies or test production environments.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Understanding of safe pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical power-system operation.
  • Experience with complex test equipment, controls, data-acquisition systems, fabrication, and troubleshooting fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Must satisfy U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain required U.S. authorizations.

Nice to have

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering.
  • Seven or more years supporting production and testing of complex components and assemblies such as valves or actuators.
  • Experience in mission-critical environments, including laboratories, cleanrooms, data centers, or aerospace facilities.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification.
