Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do
- Design, build, and commission test fixtures for fluid, cryogenic, high-pressure, cyclic, environmental, mechanical, and structural testing.
- Plan, execute, and analyze test campaigns for in-space mobility systems.
- Set up and operate live test events safely, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with design, analysis, manufacturing, and operations teams to improve testability and accelerate feedback cycles.
- Prepare technical documentation and communicate test results.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience testing aerospace or spaceflight hardware such as propulsion systems, structures, mechanisms, or avionics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
- Understanding of mechanical, propulsion, fluid, or structural systems.
- Strong data analysis skills using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Hands-on laboratory or test-stand hardware experience and the ability to manage multiple test campaigns.
- Must meet U.S. Government ITAR requirements through U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.
Nice to have
- 5 or more years of aerospace or spaceflight hardware testing experience.
- Experience with high-pressure fluid systems, cryogenics, hazardous test operations, instrumentation, DAQ systems, and sensor integration.
- Experience developing test plans, automating test setups with NI, LabVIEW, PLCs, or similar platforms.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, FEA/CFD results, and system requirements.
- Experience in fast-paced R&D or startup environments.
