Working Student (m/f/d) Logistics Support (Inland Waterways Manager)

Location: Hamburg, Germany; remote work opportunities are available.

What you will do

• Support the planning, tracking, and monitoring of inland waterway transportation and related logistics processes.
• Maintain schedules, shipment records, and logistics databases.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze logistics performance data for operational monitoring and reporting.
• Communicate with terminals, carriers, internal stakeholders, and external logistics partners.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and logistics performance summaries.
• Support compliance documentation, logistics projects, and process improvement activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a university in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a structured approach to managing information.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• German and English at minimum B2 level, both written and spoken.
• Interest in transportation, logistics, inland waterway operations, and supply chain processes.
