Production Technician

Location: Onsite in Orlando, FL, United States; 1st shift

Salary: $17.00–$29.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform basic assembly using hand tools, torque wrenches, and simple fixtures under supervision.
• Read and follow written work instructions and simple blueprints.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections and document results.
• Execute basic functional tests on bench equipment and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and ESD-compliant work area.
• Record production data, assist with inventory counts, and communicate part status and nonconformances to team leads and quality personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based instructions and training in English.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations.
• Basic familiarity with hand and measuring tools, including calipers, rulers, and torque wrenches.
• Ability to work onsite in Orlando, FL, on the 1st shift.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required for the position.

Nice to have

• Coursework or certification in electronics, manufacturing technology, or a related field.
• Basic soldering experience or IPC training.
• Experience in a laboratory, shop, or maker-space environment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
