Senior RF Test Engineer

What you will do

• Lead RF test development for NPI programs from early samples through mass production release across AMW and SIP product lines.
• Develop and optimize RF ATE programs and test hardware, including Advantest V93K RFIM6/RFIM18 and rack-and-stack RF test platforms.
• Create ATE test plans from RF electrical specifications, design RF probe and final-test schematics, and participate in hardware reviews.
• Collect and analyze RF performance data, establish temperature-characterized test limits, correlate test parameters with system-level performance, and perform production GR&R.
• Support RMA verification, failure analysis, corrective actions, yield improvement, test-escape analysis, and RF test quality initiatives.
• Drive RF test-time and cost reductions while supporting Asia Hub capability development across Malaysia and Taiwan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of RF test engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience developing RF test programs and hardware for automated RF test equipment, including Advantest V93K RFIM6/RFIM18 or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to interpret RF hardware schematics, datasheet parameters, and RF device specifications.
• Strong knowledge of RF test methodologies, debugging, RF fundamentals including S-parameters, RSSI, SNR, noise figure, EVM, and ACLR, as well as mixed-signal testing.
• Strong statistical analysis, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with RF PCB design, RF hardware development tools, and Python, C, C++, or similar programming languages for test automation.
• Experience working in a multi-site Asia Hub team spanning Taiwan and Malaysia.
• Knowledge of DFT, DFM, RF measurement uncertainty, 6-Sigma principles, PAT, SBL, SYL, RF correlation, and GR&R methodologies.
