Location: Carlsbad, California, or Marlborough, Massachusetts; specific work locations may include San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area. US Citizenship and an active United States Secret Clearance are required.

Salary: $82,000–$129,500 annually. For specific locations, the range is $102,000–$153,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Execute configuration and data management activities for assigned products and programs.
  • Maintain configuration control, versioning, baselines, traceability, and data integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Apply EIA-649 principles and established CM/DM processes.
  • Use PLM systems to manage configuration structures, releases, and supporting data.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve configuration and data issues.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, metrics, and presentations while escalating complex risks and gaps.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Configuration Management and/or Data Management experience in a regulated or controlled environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems.
  • Strong understanding of configuration control principles and product lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Active United States Secret Clearance and US Citizenship required.

Nice to have

  • CMII or CMPIC certification.
  • Practical knowledge of the EIA-649 Configuration Management standard.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional product or program teams.
  • Experience defining and refining data and business-case requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with Program Management, Contracts, Engineering, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, and Security.
