Segment Accounting - Revenue Manager/Lead

What you will do

• Oversee the monthly revenue accounting close for specific Capital Markets lines of business.
• Review and analyze monthly income statements and balance sheets.
• Ensure complex revenue arrangements are accurately recorded under applicable accounting guidance.
• Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Collaborate with FP&A on monthly results and the impact of customer transactions on forecasts.
• Work with internal and external auditors and the SOX team; support acquisitions, system implementations, and upgrades.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Knowledge of Oracle financial systems, FCC/Essbase reporting tools, and strong Excel skills.
• Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and their application in a large, diverse organization.
• Experience with financial analysis, controls, process improvements, system management, and workload planning.
• Strong organizational, communication, team-building, coaching, mentoring, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with a Big 4 affiliated accounting firm and/or a corporate accounting department in a multinational company.
