Manager, Revenue Accounting (Healthcare Diagnostics)

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes, including journal entries, deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, and account reconciliations.
• Review customer contracts across Data, AI Applications, and Diagnostics and determine revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Oversee revenue schedules, footnote disclosures, audit workpapers, SEC filings, and SOX 404 internal controls.
• Manage revenue accounting operations, billing system integration, technical accounting memos, and management reporting.
• Partner with the Controller, Systems, Sales, FP&A, Legal, and Diagnostics Billing teams to improve revenue processes and data alignment.
• Lead, mentor, and manage staff and senior revenue accountants.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience focused on revenue accounting under ASC 606 or technical revenue auditing.
• 2+ years of direct people management or supervisory experience.
• Active CPA license and a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Expert knowledge of ASC 606 and GAAP, ideally in SaaS, data licensing, or healthcare diagnostics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including logical formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
• Strong organizational, leadership, analytical, internal controls, and financial reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Experience with NetSuite, Advanced Revenue Management, or another large ERP system.
