Salary: $120,000–$190,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees.

What you will do

  • Lead manufacturing engineering for electromechanical subsystems and assemblies.
  • Develop and optimize processes, tooling, work instructions, production flows, quality standards, and inspection methods.
  • Support manufacturing of actuators, motors and drives, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, powertrain components, and motion-control assemblies.
  • Partner with design engineering on manufacturability, reliability, testability, producibility, and DFM/DFA reviews.
  • Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, failure analysis, process validation, supplier qualification, and production readiness reviews.
  • Support system integration, validation, troubleshooting, and product transition into manufacturing while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with electromechanical systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience with actuators and motion systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical/electrical integration, and precision mechanical assemblies.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process development, production scaling, DFM/DFA principles, root cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies.
  • Experience with prototype manufacturing in a startup or rapid-growth environment and the ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Experience with MES/QMS, PLM systems such as 3DEXPERIENCE or Teamcenter, supplier manufacturing processes, 5S/visual management, and SOPs.

Nice to have

  • Aerospace, defense, robotics, or automotive industry experience.
  • Experience with servo systems, motor control assemblies, GD&T, CAD, ERP/MES systems, and manufacturing data analysis.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality standards, and mechanical inspection methods.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
