What you will do

• Set priorities and strategy across production lines, manufacturing sites, and product programs.
• Define the operating system for process change, including validation expectations and documentation standards.
• Drive cross-functional execution on high-impact initiatives like production ramps and engineering change notices.
• Establish clear standards for process controls, training systems, and escalation paths.
• Own the process performance narrative using data and manufacturing insight to guide operational decisions.
• Sponsor complex root cause analyses and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

Location: Must be based in Auckland, New Zealand (On-site role)

• Strong systems thinking and leadership experience in a high-velocity manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of scaling engineering teams and processes.
• Ability to build clarity and alignment across Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Strong partnership skills regarding systemic risk, audit strategy, and process control.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
