What you will do
- Lead the architecture and implementation of next-generation compute solutions for a humanoid robot platform.
- Define and validate compute requirements for motion control, perception, and AI workloads.
- Design scalable hardware for high-bandwidth sensor data, real-time performance, and functional safety.
- Design, simulate, implement, and test multi-layer high-speed PCBs integrating System-on-Modules such as NVIDIA Orin.
- Lead signal integrity, power integrity, benchmarking, power analysis, thermal optimization, and component qualification.
- Own compute hardware from concept and prototyping through validation, production release, and ongoing support while mentoring electrical engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems or robotics compute design.
- Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a masterβs degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
- Experience architecting and shipping high-performance compute solutions for robotics, autonomous systems, or similar applications.
- Deep knowledge of functional safety principles, safety-critical design, and standards such as IEC 61508.
- Expertise with embedded compute platforms including NVIDIA Jetson, Intel, and other high-performance systems.
- Strong knowledge of RTOS, multi-core processing, Ethernet, CAN, sensor bandwidth management, and high-speed data transfer.
