Electrical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Must be based in the Greater Seattle area

Compensation: $120,000 – $160,000 per year, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Integrate sensors, compute platforms, and embedded systems for autonomous machines.
• Design and validate power distribution and protection systems.
• Develop reliable wiring and connector solutions for harsh environments.
• Perform hardware bring-up, testing, and validation using lab equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Debug electrical and system-level issues in both laboratory and field environments.
• Collaborate with software, autonomy, and mechanical teams to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with schematic design and PCB development.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers).
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I²C, or Ethernet.
• Must be able to work onsite in the Greater Seattle area.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium or similar PCB design tools.
• Experience with embedded systems or MCU-based designs.
• Familiarity with robotics, automation, or industrial systems.
• Basic firmware development experience in C/C++.
