Senior Technical Architect (Microsoft Fabric)

What you will do

• Build end-to-end Power BI and Microsoft Fabric data products, including semantic models, DAX measures, dashboards, and reports.
• Design reusable analytical models with star schemas, conformed dimensions, and standardized business KPIs.
• Implement production-ready data pipelines with Fabric Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and Python/PySpark notebooks.
• Develop cleansing, enrichment, aggregation, incremental-load, idempotent, and data-quality logic using Medallion architecture principles.
• Apply modular engineering practices, documentation, naming conventions, and configuration-driven patterns to shared data products.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, lead engineers, and business stakeholders while promoting long-term platform quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data, BI, or analytics roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI semantic models, DAX, reporting, Python, Pandas, basic PySpark, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of analytical data modeling and data warehouse or Lakehouse concepts.
• Professional experience using Git and GitHub, including version control, branching, and pull requests.
• Engineering mindset applied to data, with a focus on reusable, scalable, maintainable, and standardized solutions rather than one-off reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
