Senior Business Intelligence Developer (Microsoft Fabric)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain certified semantic models, analytical reports, dashboards, and reusable measures in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Build reporting solutions using Medallion architecture and governed Gold-layer data sources.
• Develop scalable data marts, dimensional models, and enterprise analytics solutions with consistent business definitions.
• Optimize Power BI and Microsoft Fabric performance, including DAX measures, report design, partition strategies, OneLake, Direct Lake, and refresh behavior.
• Apply data governance, quality, security, compliance, glossary, certification, endorsement, and lineage practices using Microsoft Purview.
• Use Git and Azure DevOps workflows for requirements intake, estimation, version control, CI/CD, testing, documentation, monitoring, and delivery while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in BI or data analysis, including cloud-based solutions, star schema models, and building reports from the ground up.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse or Warehouse, OneLake, and workspace management.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, report development, performance optimization, and visualization best practices.
• Strong SQL, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate business requirements for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Git, version control, and modern deployment practices; experience with ERP or CRM systems is required, with Salesforce preferred.
