Avionics Assembly Technician I (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Cedar Park, Texas, United States; 2nd shift, 3:00–11:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Fabricate and assemble high-reliability avionics wire harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Work from detailed instructions, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Document completed work accurately for quality assurance inspection.
• Provide manufacturing engineering feedback on quality issues, discrepancies, and process or design improvements.
• Follow FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety requirements while meeting production benchmarks and delivery targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience using hand tools to assemble or build products, including electrical, structural, or trade-related work.
• Strong concentration, dexterity, attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy for extended hands-on harness assembly.
• Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Must meet U.S. government ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with wiring and handheld tools.
• Basic technical skills in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced production environment involving flight hardware.
