What you will do

• Define and execute the enterprise strategy for data center facilities, colocation services, and critical infrastructure operations.
• Own availability, resilience, safety, compliance, and operational excellence across enterprise-owned and third-party facilities.
• Govern electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire suppression, maintenance, change management, and incident response standards.
• Lead colocation provider and critical service vendor strategy, including contracts, SLAs, performance, and cost optimization.
• Direct long-range capacity planning and multi-year capital and operating plans for power, cooling, and space.
• Lead and develop a global facilities organization of managers, engineers, and managed service providers.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading mission-critical data center facilities or comparable enterprise-scale critical infrastructure.
• Executive ownership of availability, resilience, and risk in highly regulated or high-availability environments.
• Deep knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems supporting large-scale data centers and colocation facilities.
• Experience managing global vendors, large contracts, executive escalations, capital planning, and cost management.
• Strong financial and operational acumen with experience making risk-based investment recommendations.

Nice to have

• Experience across geographically distributed hybrid environments combining enterprise-owned and colocation facilities.
• Background in M&A, TSA transitions, or large-scale infrastructure transformations.
• Experience partnering with audit, risk, compliance, and regulatory bodies.
• Experience modernizing facilities operations through automation, analytics, and standardized operating models.
