Lead ROI Medical Records Specialist (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Process release-of-information requests accurately, efficiently, and according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Validate requests and authorizations, perform quality checks, and ensure confidentiality and correct billing of released records.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned accounts and support customer service by resolving escalations and client concerns.
• Provide onboarding and training for new employees, mentor colleagues, and assist with queue management and work assignments.
• Monitor production, utilization, quality, and turnaround-time metrics; prepare reports as requested.
• Maintain current knowledge of state laws, fee structures, HIPAA requirements, and client site policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of ROI fulfillment experience with hirify.global HDS or 4 years of external ROI experience.
• Advanced knowledge of multiple EMR platforms and ROI request types.
• Strong organizational, documentation, communication, customer service, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience maintaining productivity, utilization, quality, and customer SLA standards, including turnaround time.
• Annual HIPAA certification and compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations are required.
