Company
hirify.global develops spacecraft and on-orbit servicing solutions for the secure and sustainable development of space, serving government and commercial clients.
What you will do
Contribute to the design, development, integration, and verification of GNC subsystems, including requirements, FDIR, and V&V strategies.
Integrate GNC algorithms, computer vision algorithms, and GNC hardware with the wider satellite bus for rendezvous and proximity operations missions.
Develop subsystem architectures, development and verification plans, software architecture, and overall technical solutions.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, customers, and suppliers to define requirements, constraints, compatibility, and system performance.
Research GNC hardware and algorithm designs, conduct subsystem trade-off analysis, and support hardware selection and integration.
Support technical and programmatic leadership and provide analysis for on-orbit spacecraft operations.

Master’s degree in aerospace engineering or another relevant engineering or science discipline.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a GNC-related field.
At least intermediate Matlab and Simulink development skills.
Knowledge and experience developing GNC subsystem architectures.
Hands-on experience with at least three of the following: GNC requirements derivation and verification; control-law and navigation-algorithm design and implementation; guidance strategies for RPO missions; translating algorithms into operational flight software; GNC hardware integration and testing; state-of-the-art GNC technologies and hardware for space missions, including technologies, trade-offs, procurement, and data processing; and capture systems for RPO missions.
Nice to have
Experience implementing RPO and docking algorithms or solutions.
Experience with flight dynamics and a good understanding of relative orbital dynamics.
On-orbit operational experience with satellite missions.
Intermediate C/C++ software development skills.
Intermediate embedded software development skills.
Knowledge of active debris removal missions, including RemoveDebris, e.DeOrbit, ATV, ELSA-d, and CleanSpace.
Culture & Benefits
