Finance Director (FinTech)

What you will do

• Partner with the Executive Committee and SVP of Finance on accurate, timely and decision-useful financial information.
• Provide senior oversight across internal reporting, external reporting and treasury.
• Lead finance preparation and execution support for capital raises, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
• Oversee management accounts, Board reporting, statutory accounts, annual reporting and external audit engagement.
• Guide complex technical accounting matters, including IFRS 9, IFRS 2 and other material judgements.
• Strengthen treasury, capital management, financial controls, systems architecture and reporting automation.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant with ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Significant post-qualification experience in senior finance leadership or controllership roles.
• Strong IFRS knowledge; US GAAP experience is advantageous.
• Experience in external reporting, audit and cash management within a regulated environment.
• Experience supporting or leading finance workstreams for M&A, fundraising or other corporate transactions.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively at leadership and Board level.

Nice to have

• Background in fintech, financial services or regulated lending products.
• Experience working with data and engineering teams on finance automation and reporting integrity.
