Senior Corporate Accountant

Location: Hybrid role based in Carlsbad, California, with one day per week in the Carlsbad office. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

Salary: $79,000–$124,000 annually. For specific locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $97,500–$146,500 annually.

What you will do

• Lead monthly and quarterly global financial close cycles, including reconciliations, journal entries, and compliance with SOX and SEC requirements.
• Review financial statements, perform pre-distribution checks, and resolve discrepancies in consolidated reporting.
• Standardize debt and intangible asset accounting processes across global entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and SEC disclosure workpapers.
• Prepare and review complex balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, and multi-entity general ledger journal entries.
• Partner with global business units to evaluate and account for complex transactions involving debt and intangible assets.
• Prepare financial schedules and supporting documentation for 10-K and 10-Q SEC filings, while improving close workflows and BlackLine management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of public corporate accounting or relevant financial experience; public accounting experience is highly valued.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Hands-on experience with complex monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting theory, and financial statement mechanics.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and ERP experience; Oracle is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
