Location: Hybrid role based at ’s CNBC headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, with a minimum of three days per week in the office. The office is accessible from New York City, Westchester County, and New Jersey.
Salary: $135,000–$160,000 per year, plus bonus and long-term incentive eligibility.

What you will do
- Manage accounting and governance for the Central Services Agreement between and NBCUniversal.
- Lead accounting for Content Distribution, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, subscriber audits, and financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end close, balance sheet integrity, reporting, and cross-brand transactions.
- Partner with Technical Accounting, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Technology, Internal Audit, and external auditors.
- Lead accounting process standardization, documentation, automation, ERP implementation, and internal-control improvements.
- Identify complex accounting issues and implement sustainable, policy-compliant solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification required.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility in a complex organization.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, balance sheet governance, US GAAP, and SOX.
- Experience interpreting contracts and translating business terms into accounting treatment and reporting requirements.
- Strong project management, communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder-partnership skills.
Nice to have
- Big Four, public accounting, or public company experience.
- Media, entertainment, advertising sales, content distribution, licensing, or complex revenue experience.
- Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, and reconciliation or close-management platforms.
