Field Service Representative (Spectroscopy)

Location: Canada, Greater Vancouver Area; the successful candidate must live in the Vancouver, BC area. The role includes customer-site visits and an option to work remotely, with 25% travel expected.

Salary: CAD 87,864–137,288 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Install, implement, optimize, maintain, and repair company and multi-vendor laboratory systems at customer sites.
• Configure hardware, software, networking products, operating systems, peripherals, communications, and applications.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems and potential equipment issues.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that affect system performance.
• Deliver integrated solutions and support customer satisfaction.
• Train other field engineers and customers on the solutions.

Requirements

• Must live in the Vancouver, BC area.
• Post-secondary degree in science, such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or biotechnology, or an equivalent college degree with relevant work experience.
• 4+ years of laboratory experience working with spectroscopy.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Clear, respectful, and timely verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations; travel expectation is 25%.
