Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) (Aerospace): Developing and maintaining security programs for classified DoD and Intelligence Community launch and spacecraft programs with an accent on SCIF operations, personnel security, classified information handling, and regulatory compliance. Focus on leading security assessments, managing SCIF construction and access controls, investigating incidents, and implementing NISPOM, ICD, and DoD security requirements.

Location: Onsite full-time at the hirify.global facility in Cedar Park, Texas, United States

What you will do

  • Develop, implement, supervise, and maintain security programs for classified Department of Defense and Intelligence Community programs.
  • Manage SCIF access control, procedural training, daily checks, construction security, and TSCIF compliance.
  • Author and enforce security plans and procedures for classified assets, including SOPs, CONOPS, EAPs, PPPs, CSPs, and FFCs.
  • Manage classified document control, asset accountability, destruction, trusted downloads, and classified information systems.
  • Conduct security incident investigations, self-inspections, corrective actions, and IC Security Assessments.
  • Support personnel security, customer coordination, business development proposals, and training of less experienced security staff.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with a current and active TS/SCI clearance and be willing and able to pass a polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressively responsible IC and DoD security experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Hands-on experience managing Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities and knowledge of SCIF procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, SAP, SCI, and related DoD and Intelligence Community regulations.
  • Experience with Scattered Castle, DISS, NBIS, NISS, Talon, and other security databases, as well as DD 254s.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve security and clearance issues effectively.

Nice to have

  • COMSEC management or COMSEC account maintenance experience.
  • Government Launch Security training completion.
  • Experience developing program protection strategies for NISP, SAR, and SCI programs.
  • SCIF construction experience and knowledge of ICD 705 Technical Specifications.
  • Experience managing large projects or cross-functional processes.
