Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant (German)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; physical/hybrid work arrangement with in-person collaboration

Salary: €36,400–€44,200 gross annual, with the possibility of a higher salary depending on experience and skills.

What you will do

• Provide functional consulting and application support for SAP HCM Payroll (PY-DE) solutions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across Payroll, PA, OM, and PT modules.
• Configure and customize SAP HCM systems according to business, legal, and statutory requirements.
• Deliver implementation projects, enhancements, change requests, testing, defect resolution, and deployments.
• Collaborate with HR departments, business stakeholders, technical teams, and German-speaking customers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in SAP HCM consulting, implementation, and application support, with a strong focus on German Payroll (PY-DE).
• Hands-on experience with payroll schemas, rules/PCRs, wage types, payroll processing, retroactive accounting, and FI integration.
• Knowledge of SAP Notes, HR Support Packages, year-end payroll activities, SAP HCM modules PA, OM, and PT.
• Knowledge of German payroll statutory processes, including ELStAM, DEÜV/social insurance reporting, rvBEA, and SAP HCM B2A processes.
• Fluent German and English, spoken and written, are required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills, including the ability to work in distributed international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP HCM integrations involving SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Experience with SAP HR interfaces and reporting.
